Intensive American Language Center
The Intensive American Language Center (IALC) at Washington State University provides high quality, intensive English language instruction. Our students come from around the world to prepare themselves for academic study at a university or college in the United States, as well as to learn about American culture.
The IALC has a highly qualified faculty that uses the latest in modern teaching methods and materials. All teachers have an MA or Ph.D. in teaching ESL and many years of teaching experience, both in the U.S. and abroad. The IALC is nationally accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) and is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP).
The IALC is an excellent choice for students who wish to pursue a rigorous course of studies and for institutions seeking unique study opportunities for their students.
