English and Academic Preparation
The
Advanced Skills Courses are designed to give new or continuing
international students at WSU:
- an
orientation to life at an American university with emphasis
on life at Washington State University;
- improved
command of the English language within an academic context
through specific skills;
- a
better understanding of American culture in both an academic
and a social environment;
- focused
study of English within a specific discipline if arranged for
in advance by a WSU department.
These
non-credit courses are delivered in affordable "mini-classes" to
meet the needs of individual students or WSU departments. Descriptions of the current courses area available by viewing the advanced course schedule.
Program
fees are based on the number of individual courses taken during
a one week session.
Departmental
Registration: Group discounts are possible for WSU departments
registering groups of students, depending on the group size.
